More puppy news
This is BA INT Ch Hausmekon's Forester. Just over 3 months, he finished the weekend going Reserve Best in Show Bred by Exhibitor. This puppy is from the Ch Bob litter out of a lovely Booker daughter bred by Anja Heibloem-Stroud. The puppy was sold to a pet home but the new owners are so excited and they want to continue to show him. How cool is that! Anja still has a couple more black males available to show homes. January 2010
At the Golden State GSDC San Jose show on January 16th, Bruce was RWD for a 5 point Major reserve, Eric handled Paul & Jennifer Root's lovely Vickie to Winners bitch & BOS for 5 points and our Ch Bob was Best of Breed. What a way to start the year! Huge thanks to Lisa Haus from Canada for the awards.
Here is her critique of our boys:
RESERVE WINNERS DOG
Norhaus – Dream Come True Thunder Road (New Era’s Tarzan x Norhaus Gabrielle of Dream Come True) Another handsome, richly pigmented, black and tan boy. He’s a little lower on leg and shorter coupled than the winner’s dog. His top line is made of iron with his croup a little on the steep side. He’s good down and back. Again, when he settled down he covered the ground very well.
BEST OF BREED
Ch. DCT – Tebe Nobe Me and Bobby McGee HT (Ch. Avion Braeburn x Dream Come True – Rivendell Janice Joplin). This guy is a large, very dark black and tan, masculine male. He’s clean at both ends with good coupling and a rock hard topline. Considering his size he’s very light on his feet which barely come off the ground. Very deserving of this win today.

Puppies in 2009
Our boys were very busy courting some beautiful ladies in 2009.
On November 18th, Ch Scherzar's Papricka gave birth to 7 lovely black & red puppies sired by our Bruce.
On December 15th, our Marquin-Dream Come True Hot Buttered Rum "Cookie" gave us 10 beautiful babies. 6 black & tan girls, 1 black & tan boy and 3 sable boys. Their sire is also Bruce. This now gives us 6 generations here.
And on December 25th, Anja Straud's stunning black Booker daughter gave birth to 5 black boys, 1 bi-colored boy, 1 black bitch & 1 bi-colored bitch. Our Ch Bob is the proud sire.

Champion Bob in 2009
Our CH Bob wrapped up 2009 with four Best of Breeds and three Group placings. The Best of Breed judges were Sheila Polk, Kathleen Steen, Robert Slay and Charles Trotter. The group judges were Charles Trotter (a Group 4 and a Group 2) and Robert Slay (Group 3)

At the GSDC of Greater Eugene shows our Bruce was awarded a 4 point Major Reserve and Dream Come True-Norhaus Dirty Dancing, "Baby" was Winners Bitch for her first Major. Thanks to Mary Ann Imhoff for both the wins.

DREAM COME TRUE German Shepherds was started in 1998 when I got my foundation bitch, the "Princess" Jaccar-Rivendell's Brianne. The gaiting dog above, "Charles", is from Brianne's first litter and was my first AKC conformation Champion.
In 2000 I met Eric Norby of NORHAUS German Shepherds. We teamed up later that year and have been working together ever since. Together we have completed Brianne's ROM (Register of Merit), bred and finished 5 AKC Champions , 2 Futurity winners and 3 Maturity winners. Our last bred champion was pointed entirely from the Bred-By Exhibitor class which earned him an invitation to the annual AKC Eukanuba Championship Show for two years.
Additionally, Eric has handled and finished numerous Champions for clients.
At the time of this writing, Brianne is almost 12 years old and we have 5 generations on the property, the fifth being Norhaus-Dream come True Thunder Road, "Bruce".
We strive to breed sound German Shepherd dogs in body and in mind. We hope you will check back for news and updates again.
